Description
Every Friday, we offer a variation of our country sourdough where we make a porridge (such as barley, oat, rye or spelt) and add this to the dough.
The result is a soft crumb and textured crunchy crust, with a bit more depth of flavour than our signature sourdough. The porridge loaf tends to stay soft longer than the regular country sourdough as it has a higher hydration due to the inclusion of the porridge.
Please note that we will not be making this loaf on Friday 14th February, as we will be making our special Valentine’s sourdough instead.
