BRED is teaming up with some other cool peeps to sponsor and cater a skate jam at Whistler Skate Park!
It is our second year putting on the event with Plenty Humanwear and long may the tradition continue.
Skateboarding is not exactly at the forefront of Whistler sports given that we are a world class ski and bike resort, but what we love about skating is how accessible it is for the youth: you don’t need tonnes of money or equipment to get into it. It keeps kids out of trouble and it has always been an inspirational sport for snowboarders. In recent years, Whistler has upped their game and built a great skate park.
This community event is FREE so please come and support it, and get some tasty toast and house-made jam, and coffee (thanks Moguls!) If you have some skills, you could win some dough (from EVO: the stuff you need, not knead ) or some Plenty Humanwear swag and come say “Hi” to us.
